How would you best describe your style? Because I work from home, my every day style is totally based around comfort and practicality. I wear mainly T-shirts and leggings honestly. However, when I get the chance to dress up, I love playing with all different looks from boho, to biker chic. I love black!
Jane Birkin or Olivia Palermo? Olivia Palermo because I absolutely loved The City! (The Hills spinoff)
If you could have any TV or movie character’s wardrobe, whose would you choose and why? I'm a big Bachelor and Bachelorette fan, totally a guilty pleasure. But I love Kaitlyn Bristowe's style! She is edgy and chic at the same time and she doesn't mess around with too many accessories or overdo anything. Oh, and she can rock leather like no other.
What made you choose the LB piece you’re currently styling? I love the vintage look of the Mother tee. Plus, it is simple enough to dress up, or add a glitzy necklace and wear out with heels. I love a good day to night piece!
What’s in your bag? My bag usually contains my phone, chap stick, eyelash curler, wallet, tons of receipts, baby wipes, and fruit snacks. No matter how old your kids get, you ALWAYS need baby wipes on hand! Kids are always sticky!! And that is likely from the fruit snacks I use to keep them occupied while out and about.
What has been the best fashion/beauty advice you’ve received? I think the best fashion advice is to choose one asset, and emphasize it. Like with makeup, how you either do dramatic eyes or dramatic lips, not both. So, if you're sporting booty huggers, leave the cleavage at home and vice versa.
How do you reset, recharge and keep feeling good as a mama? Being a mom always comes first, but it's also SO important to have some ME time. I run an in home childcare so I'm with my kids all day every day, which I love! But mama needs a break here and there. I try to go out, either with my friends, or with my husband, at least once or twice a month. I gotta wash my hair and throw on some heels, ya know? And eat a meal that doesn't require crayons and YouTube. I also like to exercise to relieve stress and recharge. When I feel good about myself, I'm just better all around.
How has your style changed since becoming a mom? There are a lot less tube tops in my wardrobe.
Any tips for mamas juggling the demands of motherhood with the desire to still be stylish? I think it's so important to be comfortable in whatever you're wearing. If you're rocking something that feels good, you'll exude confidence and be able to conquer all the mommy demands and look good doing it. Never choose style over comfort when you can have both!
