How would you best describe your style? Eclectic. I see the beauty in it all. I play a lot off of mood and mix and match as I go. But overall, comfort is key!
Jane Birkin or Olivia Palermo? Jane Birkin hands down. She is a effortless goddess who has killed every look she created. She took a basic and gave it a sexy twist.
If you could have any TV or movie character’s wardrobe, who would you choose and why? I have known to crush on Jessa’s wardrobe from the HBO series Girls. She goes outside the lines most of the time but her confidence just beams through and she looks incredible. Feminine with an edge.
What made you choose the LB piece you’re currently styling? Ahh tricky question as I could’ve easily picked them all. This one stood out to me as I’m a true sap when it comes to love. Our emotions are in really control; we just have to take in the love around us and and exude it back for others to feel.
What’s in your bag? What’s not in my bag? I fill my bag until it physically hurts to carry, then I switch to a small bag and complain it doesn’t have enough room for my life. As for specifics, there is a ton of lipsticks, mail, toys, candy, sunglasses and water.
What has been the best fashion/beauty advise you’ve received? I was told once that if you feel a little nervous about wearing something, its the best choice you could make. We need to step out of our comfort zone every once and awhile and own it.
How do you reset, recharge and keep feeling good as a mama? Girl time. I adore my time with my family but my alone time with my girls is like going to a therapy retreat. I feel like a new person and it is oh so necessary.
How has your style changed since becoming a mom? It has changed but also stayed very much the same. I think I have finally realized that I can’t wear white to the park.
Any tips for mamas juggling the demands of motherhood with the desire to still be stylish? You got this Mama! There is no reason why being a mom should hinder your style. Sure you might need to say goodbye to those mini-skirts and stilettos during playdates but those things shouldn’t see the day light anyway. My go to anytime I’m not feeling put together enough is lipstick. It works every time!
